Attorney Camisha Sawtelle
Camisha Sawtelle joined the Conradi Law Office in August 2010 as an associate, shortly after earning her J.D. from the University of Montana. In 2004 she earned a Master’s degree in Resource Conservation from the University of Montana, School of Forestry. And in 1998, Camisha earned a B.S. in Biology from the Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon.
The details of Camisha’s education and employers are listed below; here, we present the skills and talents that will help accomplish your legal needs in her practice areas of residential and commercial real estate transactions, assessment of water rights and other property rights, title review, environmental permitting, land use planning, and business formation. Camisha’s educational and work experiences are well suited to accomplish the suite of services our office provides.
Prior to law school, Camisha worked as a biologist in Montana and throughout the western United States. The technical skills gained while conducting scientific research and working with water and wildlife data led to capabilities well suited for law. In addition to understanding the underlying science behind many legal standards, Camisha possesses experience in implementing environmental regulations. With the aid of field experiences in water quality monitoring and stream rehabilitation, she is able to understand how issues arise in real estate construction projects and the permitting process. Camisha has a working knowledge of a variety of disciplines, can devise ways to logically work through unexpected circumstances, and inspire others with diverse personalities and life views to work toward common goals.
Through her extensive experience in the collection and examination of data, Camisha learned to assess their relevancy to current conservation issues and needs, then establish a protocol for transforming data into meaningful, intelligent, and useful information that could easily be acted upon.
In short, Camisha is exceedingly capable in finding a path toward problem solving and productivity no matter what obstacle is encountered along the way. She is comfortable working with the unexpected or unforeseen, and patient enough to let the minutia of any situation evolve into a bigger picture from which to work. Camisha credits much of her skill development over the years to having had the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life.
Camisha feels lucky to call Whitefish, Montana home. She lives with her husband, son, two dogs and one bad cat.
She is admitted to practice law in Montana in both state and federal court.
